Seachtain na Gaeilge

As part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations, at least  two pupils from each class level were invited to say a ‘cúpla focal as Gaeilge’ to the whole school over the intercom. The children made a terrific effort while promoting the language, speaking about themselves & their clothes, giving weather reports, talking about their families & interests and discussing the all the various events currently happening in school! Bhí na páistí go hiontach ar fad agus mar a deir an seanfhocal, “Beatha teanga í a labhairt.”
