Ms Hallissey – phonological awareness , syllable work .

Ms Griffin – revision of sounds , songs , words beginning with the sounds and making the letters using Marla .

Mr Walsh – auditory awareness , silly stories – listening  carefully for differences .

Miss Looney – Story , listening to a story , sequencing events , comprehension questions and discussion about books -the spine , the cover , the author , the illustrations .

Fine Motor activities:

Threading beads , spools , using  marla , peg boards, making  jigsaws and the one we should all be doing at home …..cutting strips of paper. We are using the muscles in our hands which will help us when we begin formal handwriting.
