FAI Boys Killarney Area Competition

Congratulations to the Fossa Boys teams who competed at the Killarney Area school FAI soccer competition on Friday 28^th February. Well done to Fossa Red who beat St. John’s NS in the final on a scoreline of 1-0 with Darragh O’ Toole scoring the winner. Fossa black won 3 of their group games but lost to St. John’s in their last group game. Darragh O’ Toole was top scorer for Fossa Red, scoring 10 goals and Eoin Murphy was top scorer for Fossa Black. Ned Donovon scored one of the goals of the day with a brilliant effort from the half way line that rattled the top corner of the net. Fossa Red will now compete in the county championship finals where they will battle for a place in the Munster Finals in Cahir, Co. Tipperary.
